Formatting is the way your book/project interior looks. It's the layout of your book—chapters, page numbers, paragraph spacing, line spacing, and font size. Formatting may also include illustration and graphic layout. Formatting is a two-step process. The first step is pre-formatting for editing. Your editor will thank you. The second step is the final formatting for printing.
